Brief Course Content:

  • Introduction to Anatomy and Physiology
  • Preparation before conception
  • Understanding Pregnancy and labor
  • Understanding the 3 Trimester’s of Pregnancy
  • Lifestyle and dietary suggestions for the 3 Trimester’s
  • Yoga practices based on the trimesters and their benefits
  • Teaching methodology including the planning of classes
  • Post Natal Yoga

Eligibility:

Yoga Instructor with 200 hrs of Yoga Instructor’s course from any school and good experience of teaching.

  • Yoga intervention presented with lower incidences of prenatal disorders (p <_ 0.05), and small gestational age (p < 0.05) and lower levels of pain and stress (p < 0.05). Therefore, it is necessary to adopt Yoga during Pregnancy for best positive results for foetal and maternal health.
  • Regardless of the type of yoga or specific postures used, modifications should be made according to the specific needs of the individual woman, in the prevention of overexertion, stress on the foetus, and premature labour.
